Dog Friendly Restaurants in Trinity Beach

Trinity Beach has a great selection of restaurants. Whether you’re feeling some Italian food, Greek or Thai, you can find it in Trinity Beach while enjoying a stunning tropical view.

We have done all the hard work for you, so all you have to do is make a decision where to go next for a great meal with your doggo.

The restaurants we have listed below are all dog friendly, as long as you sit outside. But let’s be honest, with a view as Trinity Beach you don’t want to have it any other way.

Something we also enjoy from time to time is to order some take-away from any of the below restaurants and enjoy it on the beach. Just make sure you grab a blanket when leaving your place or you can make use of one of the many picnic benches on the Trinity Beach esplanade. This way you can enjoy some great food and a few drinks while your dog is playing on the beach.

Let’s get the food fiesta started!

Il Chiosco

This Italian restaurant has 4 tables in front of their restaurant where you can sit with your dog for a nice morning coffee or some great Italian food. One of our favourites is their gnocchi dish but their pizzas are amazing too.

This place gets very crowded most mornings as they do serve a great cup of coffee and offer an amazing view.
We would recommend booking a table if you’re looking to have lunch or dinner here, especially on Friday and Saturdays as they do tend to get very busy on these days.

L’Unico Trattoria Italiano

This is another Italian restaurant with a great outdoor area where you can sit with your dog whilst sipping away your drink. Besides coffee and all sorts of juices, they also have an extensive wine- and cocktail menu. Did anyone say Sunday Sesh?

As they have quite a few tables outside you can normally get away with just walking in without a booking. However, sometimes it’s better to be safe than sorry and arrange a booking in advance.

When walking past this place in the morning you can smell the wood-fire pizza oven as they get it going early on. We would definitely recommend to try a pizza here as they do serve a good one!

If you happen to be in Trinity beach on a Thursday evening, make sure you don’t miss out on ‘SAX MAN‘ Troy Stevens performing outside of L’unico – what a great atmosphere! On this day we’d recommend to be there early to secure a spot or make sure you have a booking.

The Beach House& TUK TUK by the Sea

The Beach House and TUK TUK offer some great variety in Trinity Beach.

When you arrive on the Trinity Beach esplanade, you will see their massive open terrace on the left-hand side. These relatively newly opened restaurant are definitely a great addition to Trinity Beach and offer a nice open area when you can have drinks and food with your dog.

The Beach House

It looks like a brewery with their brewing tanks behind the bar. They serve Macalister’s which is one of the local brewers and we are a fan of their beers!

The Beach House has a great variety of food and offer something for everyone – pizza, pasta, burgers, fish and chips and much more.

They have dog bowls available on the terrace to cater to your dog as we need to make sure we keep our fur babies hydrated in the tropics!

When it’s busy, keep in mind that the waiting period for your food can take a bit longer as they do have a a lot of tables to take care off.

TUK TUK by the Sea

A lovely Thai restaurant right by the sea.
Who doesn’t want to enjoy some great Thai food with an ocean view?

Tuk Tuk by the Sea offers a variety of Thai dishes and has a nice outdoor area for you and your dog to enjoy.
Our favorite dish on the menu is their Pad-Thai – yes, very standard choice but ooooh so good! Besides a great selection of food, they also offer a great selection of beers (both Australian- and Thai beers) as well as a wine list.
